Johor Bahru

Spending the first few months of 2006 in johor bahru was a wonderful experience in a way to familiarise myself to this hectic city.. anyhow.. it wasn't enough time to explore and remember more the inside out of JB!! These photos were taken from a 'luxury' bus that brought me to the city. tak berapa kemas kan.. yeah.. views from a bus window.. what can u expect??

IN A PARK ~ 100th University?
|
|
Tak ramai tahu kewujudan park ni (tak tau exact name tempat ni).. berlokasi di seberang jalan weston park nun.. agak terpencil dan sunyi tapi petang2 ramai org jalan2 situ... ada 3 / 4 permainan, satu padang yg luas dan best.. seswai utk main bola sepak mahupun volley atau cricket etc.. ada juga batu batu etc etc..
petang tu anniversary university yg ke 100th.. saje jln tengok fun fair.. tapi takleh masuk and end up kat park ni berekreasi.. best juga spend the evening here with friends.. having fun.

STRAWBERRY PICKING
|
|
Kerja ladang strawberry mmg best.. walaupun kerja cuma 4 hari tapi banyak memory yg dikutip.. it was a great different experience and i enjoyed it... me and housemates, amir and bo working with other 5 mesir / madinah students who were spending their holiday here in UK, trying hard to get pounds..
Hidup macam dlm asrama sekolah.. nothing much entertainment cuma TV jer (got to know london was bombed via this tv)... aktiviti harian - tido, makan, jalan keliling - pegi kedai.. layan kuda 2 ekor nama wati (garang) dan pony.. pergi padang depan rumah tengok arnab dan main frisbee...... jalanraya lengang dan masyarakat kampung di North Wheatley (part of Retford) ni friendly... kat mana mana jumpa tegur dan senyum.. i was asked.. "are u malvin's son?".. hehe..
Dapat kenal dgn rakan2 mesir/madinah kat situ mmg satu pertemuan yg best walaupun hanya 4 hari. 
Menghampiri Autumn, buah semakin kurang dan sekarang mghampiri end of strawberry season.. Penghargaan kepada Mr Malvin for his kindness... i love him... wish him luck and success for his undertakings and future life....

God is the Light
How great the wonders of the heavens
And the timeless beauty of the night
How great â?? then how great the Creator?
And its stars like priceless jewels
Far beyond the reach of kings
Bow down for the shepherd guiding him home.
But how many eyes are closed
To the wonder of this night?
Like pearls, hidden, deep beneath a dark

Weeping rivers for thousands of years.
But how many hearts are closed
To the wonders of this sight?
Like birds on a cage, asleep with closed wings
But as work stops with the call to prayer
And the birds recite â?? here too are signs

How great the works of man and the things he makes
How great â?? then how great the Creator?
Though he strives to reach the heavens
He can barely survive
The wars of the world he lives in.
Yet, how many times heâ??s tried,
Himself to immortalise?
Like his parents before him in the Garden of Eden
